Government Advances Digital Public Service Delivery Reforms
The Government of Ghana has intensified efforts to modernize public administration through expanded digital service delivery across state institutions. The national digital governance agenda aims to simplify citizen access to essential services, enhance transparency, and improve efficiency in public sector operations.
Through the Ghana.GOV digital platform, citizens and businesses can now access a wide range of government services including taxation, business registration, social services, and licensing via a unified national portal. This initiative forms part of broader public sector reform measures designed to strengthen institutional performance and reduce bureaucratic delays.
The digital services framework supports government objectives to promote economic growth, improve revenue mobilization, and enhance citizen engagement with state institutions. It also aligns with Ghana’s national digital transformation strategy to position the country as a leading digital governance hub in Africa.
